What the check actually does.
We geocode the property with the public Census geocoder to find its state and community. Nothing is stored unless you submit the lead form and consent.
We compare it to the copper-retirement, network-change and switch-retirement notices we track from official carrier disclosure pages.
You get the count, the market, the precision of the match and links to the filings. Where we cannot place you, we tell you that instead of guessing.
What it can tell you, and what it cannot.
Coverage is market-level today. We match an address to the state a notice names, and to the community where a filing names one we can place. Address-level matching exists only where a filing carries coordinates we can trust, which is a small share of what we track. If we cannot place your address inside a notice, we say so rather than implying you are safe.
