Keep gates, entry systems and alarm dialers connected after copper.
A legacy line can sit quietly behind a burglar panel, gate controller, lobby intercom or parking-garage call box for years. When the carrier changes the service, the operational impact shows up at the worst time.
Critical Line identifies those lines, validates what they support and manages a controlled migration.
Gate down or dialer in trouble? Mark it as urgent.
“Unknown analog line” is not a migration plan.
Telecom, security, facilities and property management may each own a different fragment of the same service, which is how gate and alarm lines end up with no owner at all.
Critical Line starts by identifying what the line actually does. Then we validate the endpoint, signaling behavior, monitoring destination, carrier status, power requirements and available alternatives. Preserve the function, not blindly the old circuit.

One inventory across telecom and physical security.
Find every line, including billed-but-unused lines nobody claims.
What each line supports, its signaling behavior and monitoring destination.
Coordinated with your existing security company and local vendors.
Signals, entry functions and call paths tested before cutover.
Questions we hear first.
Will the existing gate or intercom keep working?
Usually the goal is exactly that: preserve the function. We validate the endpoint against the new path before committing.
Can you coordinate with our existing security company?
Yes. Your alarm and access vendors stay; we run the communications workstream between them, the carrier and monitoring.
Can you find billed-but-unused lines?
Yes. Discovery routinely surfaces lines that can simply be removed, which often offsets migration cost.
Can this be combined with fire and elevator work?
Yes. One property-wide inventory and one migration program is the recommended approach.
Can normal office VoIP be used?
Sometimes, and often not. Dialers and gate equipment can be sensitive to the signalling path in ways a desk phone is not. We verify the endpoint and its signalling before recommending a path.
Do you support remote sites?
Yes. Gates, storage yards and unstaffed locations are common in this category, and they run through the same inventory and migration program as staffed buildings.
