Can we retain the existing elevator phone?
Often yes. We verify compatibility before installation rather than assuming the endpoint must change with the line.
Can we retain the number?
In most cases numbers can be preserved through the migration. We confirm per line during assessment.
What happens during a power failure?
Backup power for the communications path is part of the assessment and the documented test plan.
Should my elevator contractor participate?
Yes. We coordinate the communications workstream with your elevator contractor and monitoring provider so acceptance testing goes smoothly.
Are there special code requirements?
Elevator emergency communication is governed by the applicable code edition and the Authority Having Jurisdiction for your site, and the requirements differ between jurisdictions and equipment. We establish which ones apply to your installation before proposing a path, then coordinate testing and documentation.
Can you manage many cabs or buildings?
Yes. Cab count and building count are what the assessment is sized around, and multi-site portfolios run as one migration program rather than a series of unrelated jobs.
